Why Do You Doubt, O Thou of Little Faith?

In Blog, devotional by S. L. Ozbun1 Comment

How great is our faith? We may think to ourselves, I have great faith! We may even be like Peter and dare to bid the Lord to call us out on the water. (Mat 14:28)

Like so many, we might find that our faith begins to waiver when we see the waves and winds of life approaching. When the storm comes, we might be tempted to doubt. Will God really protect me, provide for me, deliver me?

Maybe you’re in this season of life now. Maybe Messiah is asking you, why do you doubt? O thou of little faith! (Mat 14:31)

Let us be a people of true faith in Messiah. Let us not be afraid of the wind and waves.

However, when we inevitably find ourselves in deep waters, we should be quick to call upon the Saviour. “Save me Lord”! No doubt our loving King will stretch forth his helping hand.
