The American Church is Under Attack – We Must Pray and Seek God

This week I have spoken much about the attack on the American Church and how it would appear the Church is too lukewarm to even notice or care. I want to remind all of us we must pray and seek God now more than ever before. We must be the TRUE Church during these difficult and trying times. We must understand that by doing so, we will not be loved by this wicked and evil generation.

The Church is offensive to the world, and it always will be! Jesus is offensive to those who love evil and hate God. If the world loves you, then I would argue you’re doing something wrong. Jesus and His followers are hated by this sinful and ungodly world. This has always been, and Jesus Himself warns us of this.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.” John 15:18-23 KJV

We are to be a message of truth and love. We are to be salt to the earth and a light on a hilltop. Yes, we are to be at peace with all men as best we can, however, if we as a Church body refuse to stand up and say no to soft persecutions, what will it do when the persecution inevitably becomes violent?

We must seek God’s face, repent, and pray for His intervention. This is our only hope in a society gone completely mad. I’m calling on all people who know the Lord Jesus to fervently pray and beg God for mercy. We must also examine our lives and walk out a life of righteousness and holiness. If we do not, then there will quickly be nothing left for our children and grandchildren, and the Church in America will be no more.

Peace and Grace be with you all!
