Blessings That Follow Obedience – Torah Portion Ekev

In Blog, Torah Portion Weekly by S. L. OzbunLeave a Comment

In this week’s Torah portion, Ekev (Deuteronomy 7:12–11:25), we are reminded of a timeless truth—blessings come as a result of obedience to God’s Word.

Moses tells Israel that when they faithfully walk in God’s commandments, they will experience His provision, protection, and presence in very real ways. The promise is clear:

“And you shall eat and be satisfied, and bless the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 8:10).

This is more than ancient history—it’s a living principle for our lives today. Gratitude and obedience open the door to the fullness of God’s blessings in our daily walk.
