The Great Falling Away; Is It Happening Now?

The Great Falling Away

A great falling away from the true Christian faith and maybe even “THE” great apostasy which was predicted by the Apostle Paul, dealing with the times that precede the return of the Messiah and our gathering together to Him, is happening right before our very eyes.

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

The soul of humanity has become incredibly dark. This is the most easily deceived generation to walk the earth. I’m astounded at how successful the enemy has been at creating this hive mind of lunacy. I’m reminded of the words of the psalmist who says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).

The Apostasy

According to recent polls and studies, only 37% of pastors actually have a biblical worldview, nearly 40% of generation Z adults believe Jesus wasn’t sinless, and there has been an 11% drop in Christians who read their Bibles in just the last year. Of course, we don’t need to see these studies to know this. All you have to do is step into one of the countless lukewarm churches around America or interact with this current generation of Christians who mostly seem to have a perverse understanding of the grace of God and likewise, possess a secular worldview as opposed to a biblical one. These lukewarm Christians also tend to have a very casual attitude towards sin, perverting the grace of God. (see Jude 1:4).

The Patience of The Saints

These are no doubt perilous times, and I fear the majority of those who claim to know Christ might actually be lost in their sins, as they are easily deceived and drawn away by the trinkets of this wicked world. Therefore, as the remnant of God, we must stand firm in our faith and defend the true gospel which was once delivered to the saints. May our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, come quickly. May the Spirit of God hold us steady and empower us to remain faithful, obeying the commandments of God and keeping the faith of Jesus Christ. (See Revelation 14:12).

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:1-13).

If you haven’t listened to the most recent prophecy episodes from Scripture and Prophecy on the topic of Apostasy, you’re going to want to as soon as possible. I believe you will be greatly blessed and strengthened by them.

  1. Please research the DEAD sea scrolls…the ones ‘we’ are allowed to see have been digitally altered and are not authentic, they reek of Gnosticism and apostasy. I do wish I remembered where I read that. Needless to say, stand strong in faith in Jesus Christ! So much apostasy today it makes me cry to see it.

And very true, so called “pastors” and “Christians” don’t even believe that the KJB is the Inspired Word of God! They do not ‘test the spirits’. These new perversions are an abomination to God. I just read an email from some “pastor” who claimed that “the Lord” told him that NONE of the bibles were “error free”! I cited some places in the word of God (KJB) and his reaction? He just says, “You are wrong.”. Some debate, huh?
