Righteousness, Holiness, Faith, Obedience and Sin – Return To Your First Love

In Blog, End Times by S. L. Ozbun1 Comment

There are three words rarely spoken in the modern day western church. Namely, righteousness, holiness, and obedience.

Why is this?

If you read the general epistles, James, John, Jude, and Peter, and you are honest with yourself, then you cannot come away without a profound conviction of sin and your own behavior before an all-consuming fire that is God. After all, what does the bible teach? “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16.

It is my opinion that what we are witnessing today in most, but not all churches, is apostacy. What is being taught is a false gospel. A dark and deceptive lie is being spewed from the mouth of devils, pretending to men and woman of God. With arrogance and ignorance, they proclaim to the masses, that what it means to be Christian is to be really nice to everyone as well as accepting and tolerating of all forms of perversity, no matter how grotesque. After all, Jesus loves you just as you are, so do as thou wilt.

In today’s podcast, we have a discussion about what the bible really teaches in regards to holiness, and what to do if you find yourself going through a dry spell spiritually.

  1. Shawn,

Your bible teaching and commentary, is faithful and true, and unappologetic. It convicts me. God’sWord cannot return void. Truth can be ignore, dismissed, or diminished but only at the listeners peril.

Conversly, if it is heeded, and obeyed, it brings life, even more abundantly!

As a christian of fifty-plus years, God’s Word is bread and meat to my soul. And I need it truth in these darkening days. Holiness, and washing ourselves in the Word is our spiritual duty. “If you love me, obey my commandments.” Yeshua taught. Every christian is called to be holy. And it is not a burden, it is a gift of pure joy, for those who would receive it.

Thank you Shawn for ministering truth to me. You and I are brothers, truly!

    Rand
